Kevin Hart is ready to play the tourist again as the pandemic opens doors to countries around the world and the Hollywood star appears to have set his sights on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The ‘Jumanji’ star posted a video on his Instagram on Monday, speaking of heading to the UAE capital ‘soon’ as he plans to ride the world’s fastest roller coaster, ride the circuit of the Grand Prix and to start between the two.
“I’m not just going hard, I’m going Hart!” Work, sport … Even the holidays. That’s why on our next break, I won’t take any chances. We’re heading to the spectacular capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi, to conquer the world’s craziest entertainment destination, Yas Island Abu Dhabi, ”Hart wrote in the Instagram post accompanying his video.
He ended the post with a cryptic line: “Who knows, I might as well work on it for a while @YasIsland #InAbuDhabi #YasIslandGoesHart.”
At first glance, the acclaimed actor and comedian is the latest brand ambassador for the entertainment destination Abu Dhabi, which is once again welcoming tourists after a slowdown last year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic . The island is home to the world’s fastest roller coaster, the world’s largest indoor theme park, the tallest climbing wall in the Middle East, and the world’s largest indoor skydiving hall. The island is also home to Yas Links Abu Dhabi, the region’s first true golf course, designed by world-renowned golf course designer Kyle Phillips.
Hart was last seen in the Netflix movie “Fatherhood,” where he plays a new widowed father who learns to raise a baby on his own, with doubts, fears, and dirty diapers. For an actor who made a career in Hollywood with largely comedic roles, “Fatherhood” was a welcome change, with critics and fans alike congratulating him on the film.
His upcoming projects include ‘The Man from Toronto’ and ‘DC League of Super-Pets’.
