Six O’Clock Show host Ray Foley appears to be digging into Una Healy’s ex Ben Foden live on air

Six O’Clock Show host Ray Foley appeared to verbally hit rugby player Ben Foden.

Irish TV host and radio presenter Ray often hosts the show with co-host Una Healy, who was married to Ben for six years. The couple had been together for a total of ten years.

The former couple have two children together, with Ben remarrying Jackie Belanoff-Smith in a ceremony in 2019. Ben and Jackie have since welcomed a daughter.

On Friday’s episode of the Six O’Clock Show, host Ray was talking about the new season of Dancing on Ice and found Ben was one of this year’s celebrity contestants.

A clip of Love Islander Liberty Poole falling on the ice was played moments before Ben’s image appeared on screen, and Ray joked that he hoped Ben might suffer a similar spill.

“Oh, Ben Foden is in it? He’s Una’s ex, right? Well, we hope he falls on the ice,” he said.

Still the pros, co-hosts Grainne Gallaghan and Ray chuckled before quickly moving on following the commentary.

Una and Ben had an amicable separation and have two children Tadhg and Aoife Belle. The children are based in Tipperary with Una, while Ben resides in the US with his wife Jackie and one-year-old daughter Farrah.

Una lives next to her mother and often posts about her family life on social media.

Virgin Media star Ray and singing sensation Una have become friends thanks to her regular appearances on the show over the past year.

It’s already been a huge year for Ray, as he was announced to replace Mairead Ronan on Today FM after she stepped down to spend more time with her family.

The presenter will leave Cork’s Red FM, where he co-hosts the breakfast show, to join Today FM a decade after leaving.
