Recently, Experience host Joe Rogan has come under heavy fire for two things. One was the apparent spread of misinformation regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. The other was for a video of him that was released. He faced a lot of backlash from the public after the video of him went viral, where his use of a certain word over the years was combined.

However, White disagrees with the backlash and hate he receives. According to him, in the context it was used, it was not used to describe someone, and that makes a difference. The actor also noted that the issue became so prominent after the Spotify controversy.
