Another Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer makes fans think that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were removed from the main teaser.
While the new trailer features Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, Green Goblin, Electro, Lizard, Sandman, and Doc Ock, the other two Spider-Men are conspicuously absent – rumors have long been circulating that the two actors are returning as their respective. versions of the webslinger in the film.
The Brazilian version of the trailer, however, suggests that the other two heroes may have been deleted. Watch closely as Spidey takes on the villains at the end of the streak, and you’ll see Lizard seemingly struck down by an unseen force. This doesn’t happen in the main version of the trailer. Check out a snippet of the moment below.
Could it be Garfield’s Maguire or Spider-Man who set out to save the day? Time will tell: Garfield recently once again denied any involvement with the trio. But, considering when Holland’s Spidey takes on three villains, it would make sense for him to have a backup here.
While other Spider-Men don’t appear in the trailer, it finally confirms that we’ll be seeing a whole rogue gallery of villainous Spidey – and this time, Doc Ock appears to be on Peter Parker’s side.
We’ll have to wait and see if Maguire and Garfield are really in Spider-Man: No Way Home when the film releases on December 17 in the US and December 15 in the UK.
