Lorraine Kelly teased her upcoming appearance on an ITV hit game show with her daughter and Gogglebox star Rosie.
The 61-year-old mom revealed the exciting news when she opened her hit daytime show Friday with coworker Ria Hebden as they discussed the biggest TV shows to air this weekend.
The mother and daughter duo have worked on several shows together since the 25-year-old returned from working and living in Singapore, including celebrity Gogglebox as well as hosting her own podcast.
As Lorraine and Ria discussed Strictly Come Dancing’s first live premiere scheduled to take place this Saturday, the loving mom couldn’t help but talk about The Cube which airs concurrently with The Strictly.
As fans of the hit BBC One dance competition prepare for the first live show of the 19th series, Lorraine couldn’t help but remind viewers that there were other shows besides Strictly.
She joked, âThe Cube is also on, so you can watch The Cube and record Strictly. Oh my God.”
Broadcaster Ria replied, “It’s such a great show, isn’t it? And the celebrity version I watched recently was absolutely brilliant with Ore Oduba and Olly Murs.
âAnd I heard you might get involved with Rosie,â she hinted at the beloved mom who couldn’t help but spread the wick on their next appearance on the show.
The hit show is hosted by fellow ITV legend Phillip Schofield who couldn’t help but laugh at the couple’s hilarious antics as they attempted to complete the complex obstacle course.
Lorraine teased, “Yeah, maybe we were a triumph or not. Just say Phillip Schofield on the floor screaming with laughter, and I’ll leave it at that.”
And fans can’t wait to see the adorable double act go head-to-head to raise money for charity on the next show later this year.
