Lorraine Kelly lives on a beautiful riverside property in Buckinghamshire with her husband and dogs. The TV presenter often shares photos of the interior of her gorgeous home on Instagram. In today’s episode of Lorraine, Dr Amir Khan visited Lorraine’s home to explain how the presenter could be more environmentally friendly.
In Lorraine’s Kitchen, Dr Amir revealed that the UK produces five million tonnes of plastic each year, less than half of which is recycled.
Lorraine said: “Sometimes you can feel overwhelmed: ‘I’m just one person, what can I do? Or ‘We are one family, what can we do?’ But all of these things that you’ve told us, tiny things can make all the difference.
The methods included the use of reusable kitchen paper as well as reusable food packaging.
ITV viewers also got a glimpse of Lorraine’s house, including its huge kitchen, dining room and garden.

The room was tastefully decorated with neutral walls which had six patterned plates for decoration.
Lorraine’s worktops were filled with knives, cookbooks, and a bread basket taking up most of the counter space.
The room had a centrally located table with white wooden chairs on either side.
Towards the back of the open kitchen was Lorraine’s veranda, with overstuffed chairs around a wooden table.
A shot of the presenter’s dogs lying on the living room sofa shows a comfy leather sofa with blue cushions.
At the back, yellow cushions sit on another sofa with a table in between.
A neutral-toned rug has been placed on the parquet to make the Lorraine house cozy.
Other photos and videos show a spacious living room with a large shelf full of books.
It also featured a ladder, so that the books at the top of the shelf could be reached.
The room has pinstriped curtains, always in neutral tones of beige, white and gray.
The radiators have a white cover on which the presenter has placed photo frames and plants.
Viewers also took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Lorraine’s magnificent property.
Adele James wrote: “I love to be curious in celebrity homes, wow.”
“I don’t watch Lorraine every day but her house is beautiful,” Nicola Austin tweeted.
