Fans of Look North presenter Lisa Gallagher bid an emotional farewell to her last shift this morning.
The veteran BBC weather presenter is moving on after 20 years on the show, but has not revealed what she plans to do next.
Lisa announced on Twitter last week that her last shift would be this morning, explaining that after two decades of “setting my alarm clock to 2:30 a.m., I decided it was time to quit.”

This morning Lisa posted a photo of herself smiling in the BBC studio with the message: “Hello! My last shift is very strange.”
Fans and colleagues were quick to add their emotional farewells to a much loved and familiar figure on Yorkshire television screens.
BBC Look North presenter Jen Bartram replied: “Ah Lisa! brilliant. We will miss you very much here xxx. “
