Lawyer Camille Vasquez has denied rumors that she and actor Johnny Depp are dating.
Ms Vasquez was one of Mr Depp’s lead lawyers during his six-week libel trial against Amber Heard. During the high-profile trial, there was speculation on social media suggesting Ms Vasquez was dating her Hollywood client, whom she has now addressed.
In an interview with PeopleMs Vasquez said: ‘I guess that comes with the territory of being a woman just doing her job.
She added: “It’s disappointing that some outlets kind of ran with it or said that my interactions with Johnny – who’s a friend and who I’ve known and represented for four and a half years now – that my interactions of in any way were inappropriate or unprofessional. It’s disappointing to hear.

Additionally, Ms. Vasquez also said she “cares very deeply” about her clients. She insisted that “the whole team” bonded over the proceedings. “I’m Cuban and Colombian. I’m tactile. What do you want me to tell you? I fuck everyone. And I’m not ashamed of that,” she added.
Talk to People, Ms. Vasquez revealed that she has a boyfriend and they are very happy in their relationship. “It’s unethical for a lawyer to date their client,” she said, adding, “It’s unfortunate and disappointing, but at the same time it comes with the territory. I can’t not to say that I was so surprised.”
Camille Vasquez was recently named a partner at the law firm Brown Rudnick. She became a bit of an online celebrity during the trial, which took place in Virginia, USA. Social media posts and tributes have been made about her as she developed a fanbase among Mr Depp supporters.

During the trial, Ms. Vasquez fearlessly cross-examined Amber Heard. Among the highlights was the moment she asked Ms Heard if the $7million divorce settlement had been donated to charity by her as promised. After Ms. Heard tried to avoid answering it directly by stating that she had “pledged” the money to different charities, Ms. Vasquez pointed out the misdirection, saying “Ms. Heard, respectfully, this is not my question”.
