Ch10 presenter Natasha Exelby shares her struggles with Covid despite her triple vaxxing

Struggling with severe fatigue and a lot of pain, Channel 10’s Natasha Exelby reveals she was hit hard by Covid and pleaded with people to get bitten.

Channel 10 presenter Natasha Exelby shared her struggles with Covid, despite being triple vaccinated.

The 38-year-old said she has been suffering from extreme fatigue since testing positive for the virus on Monday.

In a video shared on Instagram, she faced the camera with a hoarse voice and urged her thousands of followers to get the jab.

“I was officially diagnosed on Monday, took my test on Saturday and I’ve basically been in hibernation and been in a lot of pain ever since,” she said.

“ISO was not a problem for me because going from my bedroom to the bathroom was like a decathlon. Yesterday was the first day I stayed awake for more than five hours.

Exelby said that given her “triple vaxxed” status, she thought she was exaggerating her symptoms, even though she felt “really sick”. However, her suspicions were confirmed when her temperature hit 40C on Monday, she said.

She also said she hopes her experience will encourage people to get vaccinated.

“People might say ‘what’s the point of getting vaxxed or tripled if you’re still going to get sick,'” she continued.

“If I wasn’t triple-vaxxed and had Covid I’m perishing at the thought of where I’d be and I know I’m not a spring chicken but I’m not an old duck either . I’m 38 and it still made me sick.

“If you’re wondering whether or not you should get vaccinated, and you’re still on the fence, just get the vax man, get the vax.”

The reporter also thanked healthcare workers and said she sympathized with all struggling small businesses and those with chronic Covid symptoms.

“I am also aware that at this time, while most people who have had Covid have had fairly mild symptoms because they are vaxxed, we still have a lot of people in hospital, so I am thinking of you. “, she said. .

“I also understand that there have been more deaths over the Christmas period and I send my love and support to these people.

“So stick together in Australia and hopefully we can kick 2020 in the teeth.”

Since sharing his video, several colleagues from Exelby’s Channel 10 have commented with their best wishes, including Glasses box Yvie Jones, Brendan Fevola and Rob Mills.

“So sorry you got hit so hard Tash! Be well my friend. What a rough start to the year…can only get better,” wrote another Channel 10 presenter, Narelda Jacobs.

The project host Jan Fran also commented, writing, “Holy cannoli. I hope you girls are feeling better! I wish you a speedy recovery.”

Although Exelby is best known for her 2017 gaffe during her stint as an ABC news anchor where she was caught daydreaming and playing with a pen during a live bulletin, she returned to Channel 10 as a presenter in 2019. Previously, she held roles as a political journalist, senior reporter and presenter from 2008 to 2013.

In 2020, she also continued I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here where she placed seventh out of 14 celebrities.
