Carilion Clinic is hosting electronics recycling event on Saturday

ROANOKE, Virginia (WFXR) – It might be a bit too early for spring cleaning, but Carilion wants to help you clean old electronics that are collecting dust.

Carilion partners with River Acceptance to host electronics recycling event. It will take place at the Carilion Clinic Riverside Campus parking lot at 3 Riverside Circle in Roanoke.

People can bring in their old computers, printers, tablets, phones, power cables or other unused electronics on Saturday, January 8 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

All the money generated from the recycled materials will help the Carilion Clinic Foundation’s campaign to transform cancer care in our region with a new cancer center.
